このTF Gillet。まず印象的に目に飛び込んでくるのはその素材の風合いです。

こちらはラッセルパイル。

まずラッセル編みは、粗いゲージで編むラッセル編み機で作られる、たて編みの総称となります。

対してこのラッセルパイルと言う素材は
通常の緯編とは異なり、経編となるラッセル生地です。

生産工程・編地の性質から
織物と編物の”ハイブリッド”と言われています。

ラッセルパイルはゲージが粗く、
筬の枚数が多いため厚手の生地を作る事が出来るのと、
緯編と比べ伸びが少ないので織物に似た安定性のある編地です。

希少なラッセル編機を使い
16Gの糸で編み立て、
厚みがあり保温性に優れたパイル生地となります。

より快適な軽やか肌触りと上品な風合いに仕上がっています。
